We hardly got to hear any positive news when the pandemic first started, but as the gradually as the year progressed news of pregnancies and newborns started pouring in. Not only Pakistanis but Ammis around the world decided to either start or expand their families. Let’s have a look at the 10 Covid-19 babies and pregnancies of 2020

1. Anam Akram

CEO & founder Crimson gave birth to twin boys during the pandemic amidst the restrictions of not meeting people. Anum has been trying to give her babies the normal childhood during this Covid times as much as possible.

2. Aisha Hassan

Aisha runs a blog on Intsagram by the name Supermom.pk. She recently gave birth to a baby boy and embarks her covid pregnancy journey proudly. Teaching easy hairstyles on her blog along with managing three kids Aisha Hassan makes it to our list of covid-19 pregnancies.

3. Kanwal Anas

Kanwal a teacher by profession residing in Islamabad caught Covid-19 in the 7th month of her pregnancy along with her husband. Kanwal single-handedly managed to get her husband treated for Covid-19 when there was no one to help and being infected herself.

4. Kareena Kapoor Khan

Surprising the fans, the Bollywood heroine Kareena Kapoor Khan, announced the news of her second pregnancy recently in August and said “We are pleased to nnounce that we are expecting an addition to our family!!”

5. Anushka Sharma

Another Bollywood celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli recently announced the news of their first pregnancy earlier this year. The cute couple has always been the talk of the town as how they adore each other. The Virushka baby is expected in January 2021.

6. Juggun Kazim

Pakistani actress and now morning show host Juggun Kazim recently gave birth to her first baby girl and her third child. Juggun is already a mom to two boys. she took a break from acting and started her own YouTube channel which is running successfully.

7. Jannat Aseem

Jannat is an event planner by profession. For her getting pregnant wasn’t an easy journey and she was completely taken aback when she learnt she was expecting in Covid-19. She had mixed feelings of both shock and surprise. She told us she was also really paranoid and still feels like she hasn’t been able to enjoy her baby and first pregnancy fully.

8. Dr. Sana Zeekash

A graduate from King Edward Medical University and working as WMO at the Government Lady Aitchison Hospital Lahore and mother of 3 kids. Sana was in her last trimester when the pandemic hit Pakistan. She continued her duty as a frontline worker. She delivered on May 20th and only afer a week developed Covid-19 symptoms. With two toddlers and a newborn Sana became oxygen dependent as her saturation dropped drastically. Amidst all the circumstances, Sana fought the virus and got back with her kids and joined her job.

9. Gigi Hadid

The always been talk of the town couple Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik got back together in January 2020. The news about their first child broke the internet in April and the welcomed their baby girl in September 2020 announcing it on their social media accounts.

10. Sophie Turner

The Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner tied knots with Joe Jonas last year. The couple has kept their life very private and secret and they also hid the news of their pregnancy. But Sophie was spotted several times with her baby bump on the streets with husband Joe. They welcomed their baby girl Willa in July 2020.
